The eighth TNM within AgriBase project was hosted by University of East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting was held at the premises of the Faculty of Agriculture.
During the first day, the meeting was opened by the Vice-Rector PhD Slavisa Moljevic, who welcomed the participants, expressed his positive expectations of the realization of the AgriBase project with his team and wished for a productive work on the meeting. The consortium then went on working on coordination of the activities of the project with a focus on the up-coming organization of the webinars, the e-platform, as well as administrative obligations and tasks. The Project coordinator Marijana Dimitrova, MA made a survey on the implementation of the AgriBase project, review on the activities and documentation, while Grujica Vico, PhD had presentations on the webinars, the e-platfrom and the dissemination activities. Angel Faz Cano, PhD and Dragomir Plamenov, PhD also had presentations on the dissemination activities of the project. The participants at the meeting also visited the laboratories of the Faculty of Agriculture where they get acquainted with the equipment and research work conducted by the UES. During the meeting, a scientific excursion to Herzegovina was organized within which the agricultural fields and wine area of Mostar, Popovo Polje and Trebinje were visited. The company “Popovo Polje” AD was visited where the orchards of apples, cherries and vineyards as well as technology of food storage for export was presented to the participants. Also, the winery “Andjelic” in Trebinje was visited where the consortium learned of the types of grape, wine and technology of production which is typical for the region.
In the up-coming period, the project consortium announces the organization of webinars which are linked to the project outputs that the AgriBase team worked upon in the past period
