After the completion of the first intellectual output O1 “Comparative baseline report on the system of adult education in agriculture”, the E1 multiplier event -dissemination and press conference- was organized in Stip, R Macedonia, within the AgriBase project. During the event, Mrs. Svetlana Petrova gave an insight to the capacity and long-term expertise of the OCULL “Vanco Prke” for recognizing the need of a project like AgriBase and its incontestable benefit for the direct users. The project tasks, objectives and activities were presented by the project coordinator Marijana Dimitrova, MA and the emphasis was put on the promotion of the O1.
“We believe that through this project we will raise the awareness of the adult education and its benefits, and we will significantly contribute to the field of agriculture”- said the director of the OCULLL “Vanco Prke” Mr. Petrov. PhD Grujica Vico gave a clear insight of the O1, attracting the attendees attention and discussing with them the results of the baseline report but also its broader application, advantages and value both for the further project activities and for the target group. PhD Sonja Nikolova from the Department of education at the municipality of Stip highlighted the support to the projects like AgriBase for their enormous impact upon the education and social and economic development. Mrs. Snezana Trumpeska from the Association of the Adult Education Workers of R Macedonia greeted the idea for the AgriBase project and acknowledged the importance of its activities for the development and improvement of the adult education in the agriculture which is an obvious necessity.
Around hundred representatives from the educational institutions, local ministries and sectors of the education and agriculture, agricultural experts and engineers and farmers from R Macedonia and abroad attended the event and expressed an impressive interest in the project activities and its outcomes. The local, regional and national media informed about the event and broadcasted it.
“Boosting Adult System Education In Agriculture” – AgriBase is a two year project within the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships program, under the National Agency for European educational programs and mobilities of the Republic of Macedonia.
